The fourth update of "Hollow Knight: Silk Song" has been launched. The Simplified Chinese translation produced by the Chinese player team Team Cart Fix has been included in the game by Team Cherry, solving the most controversial Simplified Chinese localization issue.Previously, the official translation caused a lot of player dissatisfaction and regional negative reviews. Although the team made many internal revisions, it finally decided to adopt the version of this fan team.
Team Cherry said that the translation by the talented Chinese player team Team Cart Fix retained most of the original characters and place names, and only corrected errors or inconsistencies with the previous game.More importantly, the team is well versed in the complex plot and world view of the "Hollow Knight" series. They clearly understand the subtle connections and hints in the text, and accurately convey the text details in the translation.A big shout out to Team Cart Fix.
Update instructions:
- Implemented a new version of the Simplified Chinese translation script and opened it for public testing.This is currently only the basic version and will be optimized and adjusted based on player feedback.
- Fixed localization issues in all languages
- Switched to the Unity input system to improve controller compatibility, now supports the vibration function of multiple controllers, and has added recognition of more controller models.
- Fixed an issue where the rosary was not given when delivering the Egg of Queen Styx
- Fixed an issue where the Eye of the Druid might not be equipped correctly when obtained for the first time
- Fixed the issue where the collision box of some downward slash attacks has a very small probability of remaining.
- Fixed the issue where Bumblebee would automatically release its blue-blood status in certain scenarios (such as traveling with Bell Road)
- Fixed the issue where killing the Life Seed and absorbing biomass would cause you to enter the blue blood state
- Adjusted the unexpected extension time of Shaman's heraldic silk binding caused by multiple silk binding devices.
- Based on community feedback, the effect of binding the first piece of silk in the multi-wire binding device to clean up maggots has been updated.
