This upcoming content is a large-scale expansion of the plot of "Assassin's Creed: Visions", providing approximately six hours of new play experience.It will be available on all platforms that support the original game, including PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and iOS/iPadOS devices.The story takes place before the ending of the main storyline. Basim travels to the ancient Arabian oasis of Al-Ula in search of his long-lost father, while also having to deal with dangerous gangs threatening the area.
Among the newly revealed trophies, players will find a series of objectives that incorporate both narrative and gameplay elements."Lost and Found" requires players to return all stolen items to a character named Cinder; "Story Time" rewards players who hear all the folklore in the new area.Collectors can earn "Professional Musician" by collecting all oud melodies, while perfectionists will face several challenges: "Perfect Memory" for completing all sequence challenges, and "Rewind" for unlocking all Animus sequence rewards.
This expansion seems to emphasize both narrative and player skills, and includes a number of unique tasks: "Another in return" requires players to poison the poisoner; "Escape" challenges players to escape from Al Ula Prison without being discovered.Other achievements include a "do as the Romans do" that encourages in-depth exploration, and a "book-turning moment" that provides emotional closure as Bassim bids farewell to a key character.
Ubisoft describes Valley of Memories as a free, content-rich update designed to expand the Vision experience while responding to player feedback.In addition to new quest lines and maps, players can also experience an enhanced parkour control system (such as a new manual jumping mechanism), additional difficulty settings, and the long-awaited ability to replay missions through special challenges.
