Sony Corporation released its financial report for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, and announced impressive performance.Total global shipments of PS5 have reached 84.2 million units, further consolidating Sony’s leadership position in the console market.Host shipments this quarter reached 3.9 million units, an increase from the same period last year.

In addition to the strong performance of the hardware business, Sony's exclusive game sales are also impressive.The most outstanding highlight of this quarter is "The Soul of Mount Yotei", which sold 3.3 million copies in just 32 days after its release, making it one of the best starts among PlayStation exclusive games in recent years.

PlayStation Network user base continues to grow, with monthly active users reaching 119 million, an increase of 3 million from the same period last year.This quarter, the total sales of PS4 and PS5 platform games reached 80.3 million copies, of which digital versions accounted for 72%.
