Recently, Russian game studio Mundfish officially announced that the fourth and final DLC of "Atomic Heart" will be the final chapter of Major Nechaev's story.The development team promised that the fourth DLC will lead players to explore "new and mysterious scenes" and show unknown corners of the Soviet Union in parallel time and space.The first batch of screenshots of the game have been released, with full details to be revealed in December.
It is expected that Mundfish will release the first trailer of the DLC early next month and confirm the release date - or at least announce the approximate release time.The studio previously announced the last DLC "Deep Sea Love" released on January 28, 2025 in the same way.If the team maintains the same development pace, the final DLC is expected to be released in early 2026.
The development team emphasized that the fourth DLC will bring an end to the current storyline and write the final chapter for the first part of "Atomic Heart".Players will explore new areas, encounter unique types of enemies, and witness the ending of the story that began in 2023.
"Atomic Heart" was launched on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on February 21, 2023. Its immersive atmosphere, visual style and unique interpretation of Soviet retro-futurism have attracted widespread attention around the world.
