Regarding their script contributions to the series, Kumagawa and Komao both provided script support for BlazBlue: Dreams of the Gods and BlazBlue: The Phantom of the Grave: Expanded Edition.In addition, Komao also provided script support for Blazula: Continuous Transformation Expanded Edition and the spin-off Blazula: Cross Team Battle (they are also the authors of the Blazula light novel series published by Kadokawa).Given their collective experience writing for the series, it looks like the story of BlazBlue: Chaos Effect X is in good hands.

It is worth noting that "Blue Wings: Chaos Effect X" was launched after series founder Mori Michio left Arc System Works in 2022.Despite no longer being involved with the series, his official account retweeted Kumagawa and Komao's posts, showing his indirect endorsement of the project and his involvement.
