Guerilla Games and NCSoft finally announced today the MMORPG based on the "Horizon" series - "Horizon: Steel Frontier". This work that has been rumored for several years will be available on PC and mobile devices in the next two years. But this isn't the only multiplayer Horizon game Guerilla Studios is developing.

Previously circulated rumors about Horizon's multiplayer game seemed to focus on the upcoming MMORPG, but according to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, Guerilla's next blockbuster work is actually an independently developed multiplayer game.

"To clarify some misunderstandings," Schreier posted on social platforms, "The newly announced NCSoft "Horizon" MMO and the "Horizon" multiplayer game being developed by Guerilla Studio are not the same project. The latter is Guerilla's next core work."
Unlike "Steel Frontier", which is only available on PC and mobile terminals (excluding PS5), Guerilla's new multiplayer game is likely not to skip Sony's console platform, but it will still implement a cross-platform strategy.

With the official announcement of "Steel Frontier", another project of this studio may also be announced soon.Guerilla Studio Director Van Beek made it clear two years ago that the team will be deeply involved in the "Horizon" series for a long time and has accumulated dozens of development direction ideas, and the development of a new multiplayer game is an important part of it.
