According to player feedback, the final planned DLC "Mystery of the Church" for "Kingdom of Heaven: Deliverance 2" does not bring a perfect ending to the game.The DLC's reviews on Steam have dropped from "very positive" to "mixed".

Currently, the "Mystery of the Church" DLC has 497 reviews, of which the positive rate is only 61%.Players unanimously pointed out the shortcomings of this DLC: an over-reliance on stealth mechanics, a lack of new large locations to explore, the DLC plot having minimal impact on the main game, and the absence of a farewell segment for the protagonist Henry.

It is worth noting that although the other two DLCs of "Kingdom of Heaven: Deliverance 2" also received "mixed reviews", their reputation among the player community has improved.After all, those DLC still add some new mechanics to the game.

"If you compare this to other DLCs, you get almost nothing: a sword, a helmet, and a cloak," one review reads. "The sword is useless until certain conditions are met. There are no new mechanics, systems, or activities except for the monastery area, so this is basically a one-off side quest."

"Kingdom of Heaven: Deliverance 2" is still one of the most eye-catching open world RPGs this year, and one or two mediocre DLCs will not affect its status.But players generally believe that this DLC adds almost no substantive content.

"Warhorse Studios does a great job when they put their mind to it," another player wrote. "I did like some parts of this DLC, but overall it was a huge disappointment."
