Today, Ubisoft announced that “Assassin’s Creed: Shadows” will officially launch on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 platform on December 2."Assassin's Creed: Shadows" Nintendo Switch 2 version is optimized for all game modes, allowing players to play smoothly at home or on the go.In addition, this version also supports touch screen operation, making the operation of menus, maps and hideouts more intuitive than usual.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version of "Assassin's Creed: Shadows" will include all updated content since the game was released, and the DLC "Awaji Claws" will be launched early next year.

Nintendo Switch 2 players will be able to purchase the game when it releases, with the option of purchasing a physical version that includes a Nintendo Switch 2 game keycard, or purchasing the Nintendo Switch 2 version from the Nintendo eShop.Assassin's Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2 will support cross-platform progression functionality via Ubisoft Connect, ensuring players can continue their journey seamlessly across platforms.
Developed by Ubisoft Quebec Studio*, "Assassin's Creed: Shadows" will take players on a gripping journey through the turbulent feudal era of Japan.Players will become the secretive ninja assassin Nao and the powerful samurai Yasuke, each with unique gameplay and skills.Players can seamlessly switch between the two, skillfully use their complementary gameplay styles, explore a common destiny, and create a new era for Japan.
"Assassin's Creed: Shadows" is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®5, macOS® and PC platforms (Ubisoft Store and Steam only).
