Insomniac Games is currently developing its fourth Marvel game, "Marvel Wolverine," which is expected to be released in the fall of 2026.Previously, they have successfully launched "Marvel's Spider-Man", "Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles" and "Marvel's Spider-Man 2".

It was reported earlier this year that Insomniac Games would follow up Marvel's Wolverine with a spin-off game starring Venom.
"Marvel's Spider-Man 2", released in 2023, included an extended plot in which the player plays Venom. Venom has exclusive actions and movement abilities. This led many people to speculate at the time that a spin-off game with Venom as the protagonist was about to come out.
