Bend Studios has launched a new update for the remastered version of Days Gone, with the version number upgraded to 1.036.180.This patch adds compatibility support for the latest energy-saving modes of PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles. The move follows Sony's latest system update, which allows players to enable "game power saving" settings to reduce the overall energy consumption of the console.

While this feature helps reduce power consumption and is in line with Sony's environmental sustainability goals, it does so at the cost of limiting performance, potentially resulting in lower frame rates and resolution. This setting is an optional feature that players can adjust individually for supported games through the host system menu.

Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure survival game set in post-apocalyptic Oregon.Players take on the role of Deacon St. John, a drifter and former outlaw biker who struggles to survive the threat of hordes of rampaging infected "mutants" roaming the wilderness. In addition to the fascinating plot, this game perfectly integrates survival elements with intense third-person combat and vehicle maintenance mechanisms.
The remastered version will be launched on the PlayStation 5 platform on April 25, 2025, bringing enhanced visual effects, 60-frame performance, faster loading speeds and PS5 controller support. This remastered version also includes the challenging zombie assault mode and permadeath mode, providing new and old players with a new way to experience this brutal mutant apocalypse.
