Former "Halo" co-creator and former "Battlefield" game director Marcus Lehto said he was "disappointed" with Electronic Arts because he and other Ridgeline Games developers were left out of the credits for "Battlefield 6" - even though they worked hard on the game for one to two and a half years and laid the foundation of the project.

"I'm disappointed to see that many of my former colleagues from Ridgeline Games didn't receive their due credit in the recent release of Battlefield 6.
These talented developers worked on the game for 1 to 2 and a half years, laying a solid foundation for the game before I voluntarily left the company and the studio was subsequently shut down.Despite their significant contribution, most of the staff who were made redundant were only placed in the 'Special Thanks' section at the end of the film - and a few were even left out entirely, myself included.
Out of respect for my colleagues and the incredible work they put into this project, I wanted to take a moment to formally recognize them - listing their names and roles because I want them to appear in the credits.
Game development is a team effort, and every contributor deserves fair recognition."
