"Double Dragon Returns" will be officially launched on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One platforms on October 23.It is reborn based on the classic "Double Dragon" series, using 3D graphics technology to reproduce the personalities of characters in the golden age of arcades. The protagonists, the Lee brothers, and powerful enemies from all over the ages will appear. As a side-scrolling action game, it faithfully restores a simple and intuitive experience, optimizing the sense of operation and difficulty.Combat action is rich and strategic, and players can use weapons, traps, etc. to guide the battle to victory.

Now that its media rating has been lifted, IGN gave "Double Dragon Returns" a medium rating of 5 points, saying that "Double Dragon Returns" feels less like the miraculous resurrection that its title may suggest, and more like digging up a shambling corpse.
IGN (5/10):
"Double Dragon Returns" can be called a failed resurrection ceremony.Although the game retains the classic elements of the series: a simplified combat system, gorgeous special moves, exaggerated villains, and iconic scenes such as subway casinos, the overall presentation feels like a poor imitation pieced together based on vague memories. What's even more fatal is that the already mediocre game experience is completely destroyed by operational delays and an unbalanced difficulty curve. The "resurrection" in the title failed to inject life into this classic IP, but instead seemed to show a walking corpse that was barely moving.
