Ubisoft officially announced the autumn update roadmap for "Assassin's Creed: Shadow", detailing a series of update plans, limited-time activities and new content from now until the end of 2025.Following the recent success of the new "New Game+" mode, time skip function and "Awaji Claws" expansion pack, the studio continues to improve the freedom and replayability of the game.This season’s update will include a second round of parkour system improvements, new in-game activities, and the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 version.

The autumn roadmap includes two major version updates: version 1.0 on October 28th will expand parkour mobility and add a "Corrupted Castle" animation simulator themed gameplay; version 1.1 on November 25th will launch the free story expansion film "Mystery".Along with the new plot content, the November update will also add new combat abilities and surprise linkage activities for the two protagonists.Ubisoft also confirmed that the Switch 2 version will be released on December 2, supporting complete cross-platform progress inheritance and exclusive touch screen functions.

Version 1.0 (October 28) - Parkour System Innovation & Corrupted Castle

Advanced parkour mode: removes all parkour restrictions and allows sideways and backward wall jumps from any height

Enhanced mobile control: Side wall kicking and vertical eaves grabbing actions during falling parkour can now be stably triggered on non-standing objects.

Manual jumping between beams: Added manual jumping function between beams to achieve smoother movement

Directional eaves grabbing mechanism: Restarting the classic design, allowing precise directional grabbing during climbing and falling

Corrupted Castle:

Added animation simulator themed gameplay. The castle that has been cleared may be "corrupted" and full of anomalies.

Each corrupted castle is guarded by katana enemies and exclusive reward chests.

Up to five corrupted castles appear each season, providing repeatable difficult challenges and generous rewards.

Version 1.1 (November 25) - Free Story Expansion Pack "The Mystery"

New quest line: A humorous character-driven quest inspired by Assassin's Creed: Odyssey that revisits Naoe's past story of redemption

Role ability interoperability:

Naoe learns Yasuke's war trampling skills

Yasuke masters the non-lethal stealth uniform technique

Environmental Puzzle: Introducing immersive scene puzzles tied to multiple long-standing community puzzles

Special linkage event: Surprising cross-border content launched simultaneously with the plot update on November 25

Holiday Gifts: Seasonal rewards and free items will be available during the holidays
