DICE has released a detailed community update announcement, focusing on improvements to server management, matchmaking adjustments, and experience balance progress in response to ongoing issues in Battlefield 6's portal mode. This update aims to reduce XP farm servers that exploit vulnerabilities to gain points, while emphasizing that this mode should focus on a real player-driven gaming experience.

According to the announcement, a number of backend updates have been implemented to improve the quality of the Portal Mode community tab and improve server stability, including adjustments to the experience point system, balance optimization, and the temporary removal of bots from the official certification experience to create a more level playing field.DICE stated that these measures are important measures to promote real game experience and creative expression, returning the portal mode to its original design intention as a center for custom gameplay and community interaction.

Under the new system, the official certified experience with the "robot substitute" function turned off will continue to provide complete progress and experience values, while the custom experience will maintain the experience value acquisition rate limit regardless of whether the robot is enabled or not.The development team pointed out that this move can protect the fairness of the progression system while ensuring creative freedom.

In response to community complaints that mission challenges are too difficult to complete, DICE confirmed that it is developing a challenge system update and will announce progress in the future. The update announcement also clarified the positioning of official servers in the portal ecosystem: "BattlefieldOfficial" and "BFPortalOfficial" servers are certified by the development team and provide standard modes such as conquest, breakthrough, and raid. These persistent servers ensure stability through pure player matching, while continuously rotating officially certified experiences (such as hardcore mode, pure infantry mode) will continue to provide full experience points to maintain gameplay diversity.Players can choose experiences such as hardcore conquest through the community tab, view the list of all BFPortalOfficial servers, join directly or create private battles for friends.

In addition, DICE confirmed that it will launch more updates and optimizations in the first season of "Battlefield 6" and continue to absorb player feedback to improve the system. The development team reiterated that it will maintain transparency and deepen community interaction along with the game's real-time service process.
