Updates already online:
Custom search
We've optimized the matchmaking system to more accurately match players' chosen map and mode preferences. The system will still maintain some flexibility to ensure reasonable queuing times. Therefore, if you select a more specific map or mode, you may experience a slightly longer wait time.We will continue to monitor the performance of Custom Search and make continuous fine-tuning based on data.
Vehicle generation issues
We recently deployed a backend fix to address an issue where vehicles were not spawning properly in some maps and modes.Preliminary data shows that this fix has significantly reduced the frequency of this issue and improved balance in some map/mode combinations. We know that there are still a few exceptions that have not been fully resolved, and the team is working on further fixes for these cases. In addition, this backend adjustment also has a certain positive impact on the winning rate of "Breakthrough".In the future, we will also introduce more impactful balance changes to further optimize win rate performance.
Portal mode server
Earlier this week, we made adjustments to the experience system for Community Experiences. If you missed the announcement, here are detailed instructions on how to earn full XP in Verified Modes.
Upcoming changes
player movement
We are optimizing player movement performance to fix some previous inconsistencies while maintaining the game rhythm and core feel of the original experience. At the same time, we are also improving aiming stability and reducing crosshair shake during certain actions, resulting in a smoother and more accurate shooting experience while maintaining first-person immersion.
Progress system
We're continuing to monitor the impact of last week's changes and have noticed an overall smoother experience as Season 1 progresses.Several key points we are currently tracking include:
The experience points for leveling up and King of the Hill mode are calculated abnormally. We plan to significantly increase experience gain in these modes to be consistent with other modes, and will continue to monitor the effects once they go live.
Feedback on Challenges, we received a lot of feedback. The team is working on a series of improvements to make challenge conditions clearer and faster to complete.Due to the large scale of the challenge system, these adjustments will be rolled out in two updates. Here are some examples of changes being considered:
Job Mission – Commando 1: Kill an enemy with an Adrenaline Injector – reduced from 30 times to 3 times
Career Mission – Engineer 3: Repair Vehicle – reduced from 6000 points to 1000 points
Weapons Mission – Marksman 2: Headshot kills from 200 meters away with a sniper rifle – reduced from 150 to 5
In addition, the distance required for this mission will be reduced to 200 meters in subsequent updates.
visibility
We are optimizing exposure and brightness settings to solve the following problems: players are dazzled by strong light when switching between indoor and outdoor light, indoors are too dark, and visibility is insufficient due to light when aiming. These changes are part of a larger visual improvement plan expected to be completed later in Season 1.
Weapon Dispersion
In Season 1 Update 1 (October 28th), we will adjust the weapon dispersion mechanism to make each weapon more accurate and consistent with its design positioning. Also fixed a bug that caused dispersion to not decrease as expected after transitioning from running to lying down.
We will continue to optimize weapon accuracy to make shooting feel more consistent and feedback across various weapon types.Upcoming numerical tweaks will reduce the overall dispersion impact of multiple weapons, while still retaining the design characteristics of each weapon.Burst fire is still the most effective way to control a weapon, and different weapons still perform best at their ideal ranges. We've also fixed several bugs that caused weapons to "feel inaccurate":
Sprint and then shoot
When aiming to fire immediately after sprinting, the weapon will still retain a high spread, resulting in lower hit rate.
When starting to move
When the player first starts moving, the dispersion increases too quickly, and even small movements can significantly affect accuracy, especially when using a controller.
