Today (October 28) Blizzard’s game “StarCraft 2” officially returns to the national server.According to the announcement, all previous account data of the Chinese version of "StarCraft II" have been completely retained.NetEase Blizzard’s customer service team will assist players with account retrieval, registration, data synchronization and other services.

After the return of the national server, the operations team will continue to maintain the reporting and anti-cheating system, optimize the reporting system, and publish anti-cheating results on a regular basis.In addition, Blizzard also stated that it will return the national server competition with a new look, give more support to community competitions, and provide support for private competitions.

From November 29th to 30th, 2025, the "StarCraft 2" Star Invitational Tournament will be held at the Hangzhou E-sports Center.The national server will also collaborate with China Post to launch a series of co-branded cultural and creative stamps, including stamps, commemorative medals and other limited edition collections of "StarCraft 2".


In November 2022, Blizzard Entertainment issued a statement stating that its cooperation with NetEase will expire in January 2023 and will not be renewed, and related games will officially suspend services in January 2023.In April 2024, NetEase Games issued a statement stating that it would bring Blizzard games back to the Chinese server. Since the summer of that year, Blizzard's games have gradually returned to the Chinese market.Since this year, the national servers of Blizzard Entertainment’s “Overwatch”, “Diablo 3” and “Diablo 2: Reset” have been restarted one after another.
