"Pokémon: Pokopia" announced earlier this year was jointly developed by Koei Tecmo and Nintendo. This life simulation game allows players to play as humanoid monsters, form friendships with different Pokémon, and build a life of their own. With its crafting and farming elements, this game has become one of the most anticipated games in 2026.At present, not only the game development information has been exposed, but its playable prototype version has also been leaked.

This leak was first disclosed by RyDawgG and later confirmed by Centro Leaks, a well-known whistleblower account - this account has leaked a large number of future plans for Pokémon, including the tenth generation, through Teraleak.RyDawgG released screenshots and images of the game prototype on social platforms, and Centro Leaks followed up by uploading a live video of the early prototype with a link to the suspected source code, allowing anyone to run the version in the Unity engine. The whistleblower also claimed that the project was originally developed solely by Game Freak and was later outsourced to Koei Tecmo.

From the leaked content, it can be seen that the visual style of "Pokémon: Pokopia" is significantly different from this year's public version.Different from the 3D style in the trailer, the prototype adopts a complete pixel art design, similar to "Stardew Valley".

Early reports pointed out that this game was originally planned to be a work on the original Nintendo Switch platform, and according to Teraleak, the game was originally positioned as a sequel to "Pokémon: Let's Go".
