Baokai Games and The Lost Pixels officially released the 1.2.1 update patch for "Plants vs. Zombies: Remastered Edition", which is the first major follow-up update for the game since its release.This patch fixes a large number of bugs and improves the overall experience, bringing significant optimizations to both the visual and gameplay aspects.Major adjustments include character animation improvements, "You got a new plant!" interface resolution fixes, and multiple layer and input responsiveness adjustments.
In addition to gameplay optimization, this update also fixes a number of interface and operational issues affecting gameplay such as "Adventure+ Mode" and "Battle Mode", providing a smoother experience for single-player and multiplayer games.Baokai Games also confirmed that the 1.3.0 patch is under development and will introduce dynamic sound effect enhancements and more performance optimizations.

Fixed a bug that prevented plants from activating under certain input conditions when using the Corn Cannon.
D-pad input now responds continuously, eliminating the need for successive key presses.
Sound effects fix
The Peashooter sound effect will play the correct number of times during combat.
Other improvements
Fixed startup issues caused by disabled or offline Steam Overlay.
Fixed some text errors.
The cursor will remain visible when scrolling through the Cheat Menu when not all options have been unlocked.
Players can no longer enter an unexpected interface when viewing the Pokédex.
Removed the imitator from the Zombie Manual.
Fixed input interruption caused by the "Wake up the snail" banner.
Developer Notes
The 1.3.0 version patch is under development and will introduce a "dynamic sound system", improve sound design, and continue to fix more issues.It is expected to go live within a week, with specific details to be announced at launch.
