Konami launched two masterpieces this year - "Metal Gear Solid 3: Remastered Edition" (8.28) and "Silent Hill F" (9.25). These two games each promoted the increase in cumulative sales of the series.

According to Konami's financial report, global sales of the "Metal Gear Solid" series have now exceeded 65.1 million units, while sales of the "Silent Hill" series have exceeded 13 million units.

"Metal Gear Solid 3: Remastered" sold more than 1 million units on its first day, and "Silent Hill F" also sold more than 1 million units one day after its release, and its current cumulative sales exceed 2.5 million. The reputation also seems to be good. However, in today's world where 3A game masterpieces are frequently released, the stamina of these two games is obviously insufficient.

In October last year, Konami also launched "Silent Hill 2: Remastered Edition", and development studio Bloober Team is currently producing "Silent Hill 1: Remastered Edition." It is said that the third generation of remastered editions and completely new works have been arranged.
