Today, independent developer TaleWorlds Entertainment officially confirmed that the upcoming expansion pack "War Sails" for "Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlords" has been set for release.
"War Sails" was originally scheduled to be launched in June this year, but was later postponed by TaleWorlds.Now, the expansion pack will be officially released on November 26, at 3 pm Beijing time on November 26, and will be launched simultaneously on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, priced at US$24.99.

The expansion will add a new "Custom Naval Battles" mode, which allows you to instantly create and command fleets to fight on rivers, coasts or offshore maps.This mode is great for testing tactics, experimenting with ship configurations, or jumping straight into the heat of battle without progressing through the campaign.The naval combat system is inspired by historical battles in the Middle Ages, and players need to master the physical properties of wind and water.Boarding operations, ramming enemy ships, or weakening the enemy by breaking enemy blades, sinking hulls, tearing sails, etc. are all feasible tactics.
"WarSail" will also add a new force called the "Northern Kingdom" (Northern Kingdom), which is the home of the fearless Nords.Players can trade, recruit, or fight in a land of steep mountains and icy fjords.At the same time, the continent of Calradia has also expanded, adding northern seas, archipelagos, rivers and open seas. Players can cross maritime borders, replenish supplies, and engage in battles on land and sea.
When the expansion pack is released, it will include 18 optional ships. Each ship has a unique control feel and is affected by wind direction and wave conditions.Ships can be upgraded with siege weapons, sail gear and rams, which can be purchased or captured, and ports can also be upgraded.
