Bandai Namco recently released the latest information, further explaining the partner system of "Code Devouring 2".The new information explains the various buffs that partners can provide when accompanying them, and briefly introduces the six partners that have been revealed so far.
health and bonding
The bond value represents the bond between the player and his partner. When injured, the connection value will be consumed first, and health will be deducted only when the connection value reaches zero; when recovering, health will be restored first, and the overflow will be used to restore the connection value.

Partner buff
bonding qualities
Each Bloodeater partner has unique traits that provide benefits in combat/exploration, but they need to maintain a high bonding value (not exhausted) to take effect.
Partner bonus traits
Selecting a specific partner can permanently improve the player's attributes or enhance the effect of the action, and the effect can be enhanced by cultivating bonds.

partner action
blood attack
The partner can also perform a blood-devouring attack to suck blood from the enemy, and can share part of the blood with the player to restore a small amount of ghost blood.
gift of healing
When the player falls into a coma, the partner can be resurrected through this skill, but after that the partner will be temporarily unable to play.
Partner change
You can change partners at any time at the save point. There is also a special equipment "Guardian's Heart" that does not require a partner to fight.
