Recently, Famitsu announced sales estimates for physical game software in the Japanese market from October 29 to October 12, 2025. This week, "Pokémon Legends Z-A" continued to hold the top sales list, with 195,849 copies sold on the Switch platform.2 platform sold 71,991 copies, with weekly sales reaching 267,840 copies, and total sales of 1,753,297 copies, which is very close to the 1,966,569 copies of "Mario Kart: World".

"Once upon a time there was a Katamari" became the best-selling new game this week, with 17,289 copies sold for the Switch version and 4,596 copies sold for the PlayStation 5 version. The total sales in the first week reached 21,885 copies.

In terms of hardware, Switch 2 sales were 65,434 units, Switch series console sales were 25,109 units, PlayStation 5 series sales were 10,503 units, Xbox Series series sales were 865 units, and PlayStation 4 sales were 15 units.
