Polish independent team Mass Creation has released the latest character trailer for its dark fairy tale action roguelite game "Swords & Slippers" in development.The game for PC and console platforms has an early version available through Patreon, and this trailer puts the "Little Red Riding Hood" character in the spotlight.

The clip, titled "Little Red Riding Hood vs. the Hunter," shows a bloodthirsty version of Little Red Riding Hood, who is clearly no longer a victim to be slaughtered.This time her target is the hunter known as the cruelest predator in the kingdom.Although it is short-lived, it is full of impact. In the picture, Red Riding Hood rushes into the battlefield wearing high heels and minimalist armor, showing his cool posture and unruly aura.
"Swords & Slippers" combines hack-and-slash gameplay with deck-building mechanics, and combines visual novel scenes with romance simulation elements.Players will control a dark fairy tale princess who subverts tradition, battle in procedurally generated levels, fight against a vicious stepmother, and perhaps develop some romance along the way.Snow White is the first publicly available playable character, and Little Red Riding Hood is the second character to appear. More characters will be added in the future.
The team chose to rely on player support through the Patreon platform rather than traditional publishers for game development.Backers get early access to game content, behind-the-scenes access, and exclusive features like freecams, enemy generators, and what the team calls “Body Part Enhancers.”The studio stated that it will adhere to the development philosophy of being free from external review and creative interference.
