Recently, Famitsu announced sales estimates for physical game software in the Japanese market from September 29 to October 5, 2025.The new PS5 game "Soul of Mount Yotei", released on October 2, performed strongly in its first week, ranking first with retail sales of 120,196 copies.

"Final Fantasy Tactics: Chronicles of Ivalice", which was released at the same time, also performed well, with a total of 81,901 copies sold.Among them, there are 41,333 copies of the Switch version, 24,138 copies of the PS5 version, 12,363 copies of the Switch 2 version, and 4,067 copies of the PS4 version.

In terms of other new games, the Switch version of "Super Mario Galaxy 1+2" sold 48,265 copies in the first week; the PS5 version of "Digimon Story: Spacetime Stranger" sold 23,779 copies.

In terms of hardware sales, Switch 2 sold 44,439 units this week, PlayStation 5 series sold a total of 27,344 units, Switch series sold a total of 24,109 units, Xbox Series sold 837 units, and PlayStation 4 sold 19 units.
