Bandai Namco announced that the "Dragon Ball FighterZ" DLC character Son Goku (Super Saiyan 4, "Dragon Ball: Daimon") will be launched in the spring of 2026.The character is the first playable character to be added to the game in four years.

In addition, a new balance adjustment update will be launched on October 12. This update will add strategic depth to the "Z Counter" mechanism and make adjustments to all characters.When the update goes live, the official will announce the complete update log.

Finally, Bandai Namco also announced that during the 2026 Dragon Ball Game Battle Moment event (held from April 18th to 19th), the "Dragon Ball FighterZ" Master Challenge will be launched.Participants need to advance through the qualifiers before they can challenge professional players including GO1, Hikari, SonicFox, Wawa, Wade, and Yasha.

Currently, "Dragon Ball FighterZ" has been launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series series consoles, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC Steam platform.
