According to GSD European Chart statistics (statistics as of October 5), the first weekend sales of "Soul of Mount Yotei" in Europe became the best-performing Sony first-party game since "Marvel's Spider-Man 2".

However, "Soul of Mount Yotei" lags behind the EA sports game "FC 26" in terms of sales and revenue, ranking second.

According to GSD statistics, "The Soul of Mount Yotei" is Sony's best-performing first-party game since the release of "Marvel's Spider-Man 2". "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" was released in 2023 and sold more than 2.5 million units in its first 24 hours. It was Sony's fastest-selling first-party game at the time.

This means that the sales of "Ghost of Mount Yotei" have not exceeded that of "Marvel's Spider-Man 2", and its sales in Europe are similar to those of its predecessor "Ghost of Tsushima".
