Bend Studio has launched a major 2025 upgrade (version 1.08) for Days Gone on the Steam platform.In addition, players can freely choose between the original PC release in 2021 (version 1.07) and the updated version in 2025 (version 1.08).

Supports the tactile feedback function of the DualSense controller (wired connection required), expands accessibility options, and significantly enhances the realism of the environment.The new sky and light simulation system uses ozone and spectral rendering technology to present more accurate tones and significantly darker nighttime scenes.Improvements to lighting, shadows, and ambient occlusion combine to create a more immersive apocalyptic atmosphere.This update is also compatible with the newly released Days Gone: Shattered Roads DLC (needs to be purchased separately).

"Days Gone" is an open-world action-adventure survival game set in post-apocalyptic Oregon. Players will play the role of Dickon St. John, a former member of the Biker Gang, to survive the threat of zombie-like "mutants" and hostile humans.The main plot of the story revolves around the protagonist's search for his wife Sarah, who was thought to be deceased.This game was originally launched on PlayStation 4 on April 26, 2019, on the Windows platform on May 18, 2021, and on April 25, 2025, the PlayStation 5 remake was launched.

How to switch to the classic version
Right-click Days Gone in the Steam library
Select the gear icon → Properties → Beta
Select "classic" in the drop-down menu to use version 1.07
When you need to return to the updated version, select "None" again to reinstall the latest version.
