Techland has announced the 11-week post-launch update roadmap for Dying Light: The Trapped Beast, bringing new content, highly anticipated features, and a global community event - Trapped Beast Echoes.
Eleven weeks development update roadmap
After the successful release of Dying Light: The Beast and its critical acclaim from players, Techland has officially entered a new phase of post-launch support.
Over the coming weeks, players will receive a series of updates focused on replayability and endgame depth, including the highly anticipated New Game+, Legend Level, and Nightmare Difficulty.The roadmap will also bring new weapon execution actions, ray tracing support on PC, exciting linkage activities with "PUBG Mobile", and more surprises that have yet to be revealed!

"Echo of the Trapped Beast" Challenge
Techland officially announced the launch of the global community event "Call of the Beast", inviting players of "Dying Light: The Beast" to join hands and show strength together! The event will start on October 16 and last until January 7, 2026, for a period of 11 weeks.During this period, new challenges and exclusive rewards will be launched every Thursday.
Throughout the event, players from around the world will work together to complete a series of weekly goals centered on teamwork, perseverance, and the power of community.Each challenge will bring unique rewards, and as long as the goal is achieved, the rewards will appear directly in the player's game inventory.Whether it’s a new weapon or a unique vehicle livery, every week brings new surprises and reasons to celebrate the community’s collective achievements.To earn weekly rewards, players need to contribute to a common goal that week.
As long as players collectively complete at least 17 of the 23 objectives, a mysterious legendary reward will be unlocked.Additionally, if the community as a whole reaches 20 goals, all players who have participated in at least one challenge will receive the full reward – no matter when you join the Challenge!
It's easy to join the herd.By working together, each player can rise to the challenge, prove their strength, conquer the impossible, and unlock a total of 23 exclusive rewards.Players can go to the Dying Light Outpost event topic to view the week’s challenge content, reward details, and community progress.
The first community challenge "Amputation Surgery" will officially start this Thursday (October 16).
