As 2K appoints a new head of its 31st Union studio, the development of "Project ETHOS" is about to enter a new stage.According to Variety, Ben Brinkman has resigned from Respawn Entertainment and will officially take charge of the development of this game.

Brinkman succeeds former 31st Union Studios president Michael Condrey, who was fired in February.2K president David Ismailer said the player community’s feedback on Project ETHOS has been “extremely inspiring.”

"This feedback not only affirms the potential of the roguelike shooter, but also reveals areas where we still need to improve, especially the need for the project to establish a more distinct uniqueness." David Ismailer said frankly, "It is exciting to see the progress the team has made. You have truly accepted the feedback and reimagined the "ETHOS Project" with a new vision. Now the project is ready to deliver on its promise to players."
"Our confidence in the "ETHOS Project" is growing day by day. In order to continue to promote the current results, I am very honored to welcome Ben Brinkman as the new head of 31st Union Studio. After several months of communication, Ben will officially join the position on October 20 (Monday)."

It is reported that Brinkman comes from Respawn Entertainment and has served as the executive producer of "Apex Legends" since 2020.Before joining Respawn in 2008, he served as a producer on the Call of Duty series at Activision and Treyarch.His career in the gaming industry began in the late 1990s, more than 20 years ago, during which time he also worked at EA and 2K.
