Stockholm, Sweden and Sofia, Bulgaria – October 15, 2025 – Paradox Interactive, publisher and developer of games, today announced that Surviving Mars: Relaunched, developed by Haemimont Games, will be released on PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 10, 2025.
This remastered version is an updated and expanded version of the award-winning sci-fi city-building game "Surviving Mars" released in 2018. It will include the enhanced original game, new unreleased content, and all previously released DLC (from expansion packs to cosmetic content), integrated into a complete experience.
Additionally, Paradox announced Surviving Mars: Relaunched – Ultimate Edition, which includes the Prime Mission Expansion Pass.After purchasing, players will immediately receive a new in-game "Quest Sponsor" and will receive two upcoming expansion packs in the future:
• Feeding the Future – expected to launch in the second quarter of 2026;
• Machine Utopia – Expected to launch Q4 2026.
Game features
"Surviving Mars: Remastered" combines the original colony management gameplay created by Haemimont Games, and integrates all expansion packs (from large expansion to decoration packs and radio stations), while adding a new game mechanism-the "Mars Parliament" political system.
The improved graphics and updated user interface will bring the ultimate version experience to old players and provide an ideal entry-level opportunity for new commanders.
In the Ultimate Edition, players can immediately obtain the new mission sponsor "Interplanetary Codex" (Interplanetary Codex). The goal of this organization is not only to colonize Mars, but also to lay an institutional foundation for the political future of Mars.
This patron can build a unique law office building and manage diplomatic relations and financial transactions with Earth - but only if you can win the approval of the Mars colonization faction.
Two future expansions: Feeding the Future will expand the food and production system, introduce more in-depth management mechanisms, and meal choices that affect the comfort and sanity of the colonists; Machine Utopia will bring mechanized labor and large-scale industrialization options, opening a new era of production for the red planet.
