"Star: Heresy Prophet" was released last year. It is Naughty Dog's first new IP in more than a decade. The latest reports say Naughty Dog has attracted Michael Ewert, a senior physical programmer of "GTA4" and "Red Dead Redemption" to develop "Star: Heresy Prophet".

Michael Ewert's LinkedIn resume shows that he joined Naughty Dog in February 2025 as a senior physics programmer.

Michael Ewert was involved in the development of the physical mechanics of many R-Star games from 2004 to 2007, including "GTA4", "GTA5", "Red Dead Redemption" and even the studio's underrated table tennis game.

Although the physical mechanisms of the above games are pretty good in their own opinion, the physical mechanisms of "GTA4" are the best.The rag doll system, driving mechanism, etc., are many of them in very real shapes in the game, and they are still applauding until modern times.
