Devolver Digital announced that the walking simulation game "Baby Steps" will be released on September 9.The corresponding platform is PC (Steam)/PS5.

This game is a walking simulation game with "walking" as its core theme, using a step-by-step guided gameplay based on a physics engine.The protagonist of the story is Knight. This young man who has lived in the basement of his parents' home for a long time suddenly lost in a mysterious mountain area one day and had to embark on a journey barefoot.The game features the physics simulation system - even a slight trip will cause the character to fall, and there will be many obstacles waiting for him ahead.

During the journey, Knight will encounter all kinds of people and animals, including many ridiculous people who sneer at him.Through such cutscenes, the story plot will gradually unfold.In addition, dynamic acoustic music produced by a variety of environmental sampling materials and generated through programmatic purposes will inject fresh vitality into the game world.

This work was jointly developed by Bennett Foddy, Gabe Cuzzillo and Maxi Boch.The three of them were once famous for jointly creating the highly rated work "Ape Out" ("Ape Man Escape"), among which Bennett Fordy is well-known for the producer of "Surveying Difficulties with Bennett Fordy" (commonly known as "digging ground for promotion", also known as "Koun Man").It is reported that the narration in "Baby Steps" will also be spoken by the developers themselves.This game has a trial version.
