NEXON announced the new MMORPG work "Project DX", produced with the IP of "Durango: Wild Land" at the 2022 GStar Game Exhibition. Now the work will be named "Durango: World".

According to information from KIPRIS, a Korean smart property search portal website, NEXON applied for trademark registration of the Korean and English names of "Durango: World" on August 8.

When NEXON announced Project DX earlier, it pointed out that this is a new MMORPG work created with the IP of "Durango: Wild Land", combining unique features related to primitive dinosaurs and survival elements.NEXON confirmed in May this year that Project DX will be available on PC and hosting platforms.

Korean media DailyGame reported that when reporters asked NEXON whether "Durango: World" was the official name of "Project DX", the official answered: "Yes" and explained that it symbolized the new successor of the "Durango" series.

Nexon Games will attend the Unreal Fest Seoul Station Technology Sharing Symposium on August 25, telling the successful cases of applying PCG in the new IP work "Project DX", "Durango", so the media predicts that more information about this new work will be released by then.
