Recently, Activision officially released an announcement stating that after the fifth season of "Call of Duty 21: Black Ops 6" started on August 7, PC players must enable "Safe Start" to play, including the subsequent "Call of Duty 22: Black Ops 7".
The "Security Boot" feature is a security feature of Win10 and Win11 that ensures that the PC only loads certified security software. It allows Activision to detect and ban players using illegal third-party devices or cheating programs more conveniently.
Activision explained: "Safe boot makes cheating at the hardware level more difficult, ensuring that the system is in a purer state when it starts, and providing a more reliable environment for the operation of RICOCHET Anti-Cheat."
In addition, the official encourages players to ensure their account security through email verification and two-factor authentication.Activision has also launched new detection tools to combat the practice of training and teaming cheating in Call of Duty 21: Black Ops 6 multiplayer mode and Warzone ranking matches.
