Sony Interactive Entertainment recently released its first quarter of fiscal year 2025 (as of June 30) financial report, showing that the global cumulative shipment of PlayStation 5 consoles has reached 80.3 million units.Data shows that the global shipment of PS5 in the latest quarter was 2.5 million units, an increase of 100,000 units from the same period last year.

As of June 30, PlayStation Network had 123 million monthly active users, an increase of 7 million year-on-year (116 million in the same period last year).The total sales of PS4 and PS5 platform software in this quarter reached 65.9 million, an increase of 12.3 million units year-on-year.Among them, the sales volume of first-party games was 6.9 million, an increase of 900,000 from 6 million in the same period last year.It is worth noting that the digital version of the complete game accounted for 83%, an increase of 3% year-on-year.
