Pearl Abyss announced that its highly anticipated open-world action-adventure game Red Desert will release its latest trial version at the Cologne Game Show in Cologne, Germany in 2025 (August 20-24) and PAX West in Seattle, USA (August 29-September 1).
In the new trial version, players can not only experience the vast open world, but also learn about some of the story plots of "Red Desert".This content takes place in the early to mid-stage stages of the game, and players will witness the magnificent scenes of large-scale battlefields in the open world during the trial.
The real battlefield atmosphere presented during the trial will leave a deep impression on people.The shouts of soldiers, the sound of weapons fighting, the shells flying overhead, and the tension created by war and smoke will make players feel as if they are on the front line of war.
The stories of each character will also be displayed through high-quality cutscenes.Key characters appearing in the trial include Cliff, his companion Onka, Lord Stefan Langford of Calped, and Cassius Morton who betrayed Calped.Through their interactions, players can get a glimpse of some of the epic story of the Red Desert.
This trial will also showcase the game's open world core - Pavel Continent.Dynamic environmental effects such as day and night changes, weather systems, and alpine cliffs and other landforms further enhance the immersion.All visual elements are created by the Black Space engine independently developed by Pearl Abyss, presenting lifelike and high picture quality, giving "Red Desert" rich vitality.
During the Cologne Game Show, Pearl Abyss will also work with the world's leading technology brands to provide the ultimate trial experience.Players will try it on devices equipped with AMD hardware and Samsung Odyssey G6 and G8 OLED gaming monitors to get a real and immersive experience.
