Konami DigitalEntertainment Limited (KONAMI) today announced that GRADIUS ORIGINS is now available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ and PC (Steam®).The GRADIUS ORIGINS Decision Edition collection recreates classic horizontal shooting games from the 1980s, and includes many of the earliest works of the GRADIUS series.

The collection also brings the new work SALAMANDER III, which has been out of reach for more than a decade in this shooting game series.

SALAMANDER III faithfully presents the art style of the GRADIUS series from the 1980s to 1990s, using 2D pixel characters and backgrounds. Players can use the enhanced props of the SALAMANDER series to shuttle through different levels.
The collection includes 18 regional versions of 7 works, and is equipped with a number of modern and convenient functions, including: Online Rankings, Rewind, Quicksave & Quickload, Easy Mode, Training Mode, Invincible Mode, Visual and Sound Gallery, etc.
