Today, 2K released the new MyPLAYER modeling in the next-generation version of NBA® 2K26, providing players with a better experience and giving them more insight and control.New features make it easier for novice players to understand and create players, and also make it easier for experienced professionals to customize modeling.

“Making your MyPLAYER modeling more adapted to your playstyle is the mission of NBA 2K to enhance the player experience,” said Erick Boenisch, vice president of NBA development at Visual Concepts. “This year’s modeling system gives players a deeper sense of engagement at every step. We’ve introduced new tools such as animation and player reporting so that players can know from the very beginning the advantages and limitations of their player modeling.”

New features of NBA 2K26 MyPLAYER modeling include:

● Action Pack: The new animation package in NBA 2K26 allows players to make smarter decisions when building MyPLAYER.As the final internal source, the new animation package will list the details, attributes, and capability value requirements for each animation.Meanwhile, the new search feature makes it easier for players to find their favorite player styles and see all the requirements required to equip the corresponding animation.

● Preset iconic action: In NBA 2K26, players can more easily imitate their favorite professional players.Players can be created to compare filters among dozens of NBA player styles and then select the best animations related to the recommended players.

● Create by Badge: With the new Create by Badge feature, players can help shape their MyPLAYER framework to ensure their attributes meet the requirements of certain badges.By selecting the badges and levels the player wants - Bronze, Silver, Gold, Hall of Fame, and Legend - the player will be able to lock in the minimum attribute points you need so they can use the remaining points to maximize the value of the rest of the section.

● Scout Report: The final step in MyPLAYER modeling introduces a brand new scout report, the ultimate tool to help players understand the MyPLAYER type they build.The scout report shows the best badges and attributes for modeling and provides insights into its pros and cons.

● Modeling expertise: NBA 2K26 has added a modeling expertise goal, and players can enhance the potential of MyPLAYER in specific skill areas.Players can choose one of five areas to specialize in: finishing, shooting, organizing, defense or rebounding.Each field has nine unique goals, testing their abilities in the profession, and upon completion, they can win rewards tailored to each skill area.

● Badge Rewards and Dominance: Badge Rewards returns with maximum value +1, and now the new maximum value +2 raises the badge to two levels, exceeding its maximum potential.Players can also temporarily upgrade the badge to a higher level in different game situations through mechanisms such as "Dominal Proliferation".In addition, there will be 40 rewards related to the Lord, including the Lord Preset, the Lord Accelerator and the final reward - Custom Lord.

● More influential top-up breakthrough: block breakthrough is evolving in NBA 2K26.Now, each cap breakout will still increase the highest and strongest rating attributes +1, but players will see a bigger boost if they choose to apply them to the lowest rating attributes.
