At the launch of Battlefield 6 in London, DICE Studios showed off modern war settings, stunning environmental damage effects and a new movie-level campaign mode.
This classic feature of the server browser allows players to bypass the matching system and directly join the game. Although this feature is discarded and used by works of previous generations, it has always been one of the most cherished features of hardcore players.
Alan Pim, director of game user experience, made it clear: "The server browser does exist."However, the development team confirmed that this feature is only used in the "Battlefield Portal" mode when it is first released - this creative workshop-style platform allows players to build their own game rules and maps.
It is worth noting that in the public beta version, the standard matching mode does not open the server browser function. But the developers stressed that this does not mean that it will not be introduced into the regular battle mode in the future.
