Next time you play Call of Duty, you may have to enter your birthday before you can enter the game.
According to foreign netizens' discovery on social media, players now need to add birthday information to their Activision account.Any underage player will need to obtain parental consent, otherwise the account may be at risk of being deleted.
"In keeping with our efforts to provide a positive community experience (see Call of Duty Code of Conduct for details), Activision players are asked to update their account information," the publisher said.
Judging from the pictures in the post, it seems that this feature is of no use for the moment, as it does not seem to require submitting any form of ID to verify your birthday. However, it is not impossible to request submission for verification purposes in the future.
