Naughty Dog head Neil Druckmann will withdraw from the creation of the HBO series "The Last Survivor" so that he can devote himself to Naughty Dog's own projects.

Previously, Neal had been deeply involved in the HBO hit series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay.
“I made a tough decision to quit the creation of the HBO series The Last Survivor, with the work of the second season being completed and before season three began substantial production, it was the perfect time for me to turn all my energy to Naughty Dog and its future projects, including writing and directing our exciting next game, Star: The Prophet of Heretics, and continuing to fulfill my duties as studio director and creative director.

Co-creating this series is a highlight of my career. It is a great honor to be able to work with Craig Mazin as executive producer, director and screenwriter of the series.I am very grateful to the talented actors and staff for their dedication in the adaptation of "The Last Survivor 1" and the sequel "The Last Survivor 2".”
