In its keynote speech on the morning of June 9 local time, Apple listed "Red Desert" as one of the global 3A games promoted by macOS in 2025, and announced that the game will be officially launched within the year.In his speech, Craig Federighi, chief vice president of Apple, emphasized the deep integration of this work with the Apple ecosystem. During the display session, Apple used the real-time picture of "Red Desert" to demonstrate the interpolation effects of ray tracing and MetalFX frames: the water reflection and particle effects of the protagonist galloped and spread his glider across the sea are presented in movie-level specifications.
