At last night's Konami online conference, Konami announced that "Metal Gear 3: Remake" will usher in an original online multiplayer mode Fox Hunt.
Multiplayer Fox Hunt is created by Yu Sahara, a senior designer of the Metal Gear series. He has participated in the production of Metal Gear 4, Peacemaker, Aboriginal Point and Metal Gear 5: Phantom Pain.
The official description of Fox Hunt is a "completely original" online multiplayer mode, which has nothing to do with "Metal Gear OL", which is also available on the PS2 Subsistence version of the original game.
This mode shares the same world as Metal Gear 3: Remake, but the gameplay is completely different.Based on the series' "slide", the "camo" and the theme "survival" that are characterized by "Metal Equipment 3: Remake" is not a simple gunfight, but a hide-and-seek relationship between "hidden" and "discovery" to construct the unique online battle of "Metal Equipment".Details are still to be disclosed later.

After careful consideration, we determined what the new online mode should look like.Based on the iconic stealth and survival elements of the Metal Gear series, we take disguise and hiding to a new level.
We challenge ourselves to create something unique, not just a normal gunfight game.We use this tension of switching back and forth between hiding and searching for enemies to create an online experience unique to Metal Gear.”
In addition, at the press conference, Konami also released the Xbox Series X|S version of the real-time promotional video of "Metal Equipment 3: Remake", revealing the special game "Snake vs Bomb Man" exclusive to the Xbox platform (PS5 and PC Steam versions are "The Battle between Snake and Monkey").

The production team revealed that this promotional video focuses on the actual gameplay part, and the concept of the boss battle scene shown in it has not changed as the original work, but the AI, animation and game balance of each boss has been readjusted.
