On June 13, KRAFTON's life simulation game "inZOI (Cloud Ethnicity)" was updated to officially launch the official module tool "inZOI ModKit", and plans to launch two global module solicitation activities from June to August.
"inZOI ModKit" aims to enable players to freely create and share module content, becoming the core cornerstone of expanding the creator ecosystem of "inZOI (Cloud Ethnicity)".The tool is now available through the Epic Games Store and provides special plug-ins compatible with Maya and Blender, greatly improving the efficiency of 3D material production.Users can upload their own modules to CurseForge, a module platform operated by Overwolf, or store them as files and share them freely. This update also includes the expansion of the relationship system, the addition of cheating functions, and a number of new optimizations of clothing and furniture content.
KRAFTON previously announced the update plan for the module system in May, and the module system will be updated in three stages by the end of the year.In this update, in addition to the official launch of "inZOI ModKit", it also added new clothing sets and furniture module production support, as well as a "data editor" that facilitates the modification of game data.Next, in the September update, the module support for character appearance and architectural elements will be further opened, and the module scope will be expanded to content creation based on character interaction; and the December update will add script editing and localization support to bring players a more in-depth content creation space.
To further promote the development of the module ecosystem, KRAFTON will hold two global module solicitation activities this month.Among them, the "The Next Top Modder" Hackson Challenge, held in cooperation with CurseForge, will be held from June 19 to August 1. The champion can win a total of US$11,000 (about RMB 79,000) and have the opportunity to make its module content the official game content. The event has four major awards: "Best Clothing Set", "Best Furniture Module", "Popularity Award" and "Module Contribution Most Positive Award".
Another event is the fashion creation competition "Every Style Starts with You" jointly organized with CONNECT, a 3D fashion creation platform under CLO Virtual Fashion. The event will be from June 13 to August 1.The competition will select 15 winning works, with a total prize of US$26,000 (approximately RMB 186,000).Participants need to design a complete clothing suit, and the submission categories include "ready-to-Wear", "creative and interesting style" and "fantasy and imagination theme style".
