There is a lot of discussion about the next generation of Xbox, and Microsoft simply says they are developing it and claims it will be very powerful. But some leaks suggest that the host's hardware will be closer to a Windows PC to be able to run PC platform games such as Steam and Epic.
But now there is a rumor that claims to be the exact opposite. The well-known leaker eXtas1s pointed out that the next-generation Xbox will be a traditional game console, according to AMD insider Kepler.
This seems to be supported at least partially by Windows Central editor Jez Corden.Responding to another eXtas1s post on backward compatibility, he wrote that the next generation of Xbox will indeed be compatible with games for Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X and run them on a hardware level (no simulation involved).
Of course, these are just rumors. Everything is uncertain until Microsoft officially releases the news.
