SE confirmed the return of multiple creators of the first generation of Final Fantasy Strategy Edition to produce a new enhanced version of Final Fantasy Strategy Edition: Chronicles of Ivalis, which includes the first generation game designer Kazutoyo Maehiro (currently serves as the game director of the enhanced version), the first generation game art director Hiroshi Minagawa (currently serves as the art director of the enhanced version), and the first generation game director Yasumi Matsuno (currently serves as the scene writer and editor of the enhanced version).
