Funcom announced the open world large-scale survival multiplayer online game "Dune: Awakening" sold more than 1 million worldwide, becoming the fastest-selling game ever.

"Dune: Awakening" was released on June 10, 2025 and was launched on the PC Steam platform, which means that the sales volume exceeded one million in just two weeks.For comparison, it took a year for Funcom's survival game "Conan the Exile" to be released in 2018 to reach 1 million.

"Dune: Awakening" Steam's online peak at the same time exceeded 189,000, which is 3.5 times the online peak at the "Conan Exile" (54503).

Dune: Awakening will also be available on the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles later this year.
