American game publisher Hooded Horse recently announced that its partner studio Sad Socket has sold over 250,000 copies since its first week of the early experience stage.
The game is a fast-paced construction meat pigeon game. Players need to use troops, spells, buildings and other units to arrange troops and strive to become the strongest king on this land. The game currently has a 92% positive review on steam, which is one of the most successful games of the Brazilian development team to date.
Sad Socket was founded by two childhood sweethearts from Santos, Brazil, Rafael Melo and André Young. They tried to make a 3A game as a child, but they didn't succeed.Rafael Melog sighed: "How could the 11-year-old boy who made games in a small Brazilian city because of their fun, one day he would have thought that he would one day create a work of this scale."
The studio has been committed to supporting the Nine Kings after the release of the Nine Kings and has released seven patches.According to their roadmap for the Early Access phase, more updated content will be launched in the future.
