It is getting closer to the launch of the next-generation console Switch 2 on June 5. On May 27, Nintendo announced the latest measures to fight against reselling, and will work with the three major Japanese trading giants to learn about it.
·Nintendo has identified the giants that cooperate with: Japan's largest second-hand commodity trading station Mercari, the most popular interactive platform auction station LINE Yahoo, and one of the largest e-commerce companies, Lotte Group.
·Except for a very small number of high-risk or unofficial platforms, the re-buying and reselling of major scarce commodities in Japan are inseparable from the above three platforms. Nintendo will closely contact them, always pay attention to the occurrence of bad reselling, always ban and sanction various scalpers, and do its best to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of players in real demand. Stay tuned.
