Recently, RandyPitchford revealed on social media: "Borderlands 4's development budget is more than twice that of Borderlands 3."

Although Pitchford did not give exact data, considering that reporter Jason Schreier once revealed that the development cost of "Borderlands 3" is US$140 million (about RMB 1 billion), if what Pitchford said is true, the development cost of "Borderlands 4" will be nearly US$300 million (about RMB 2.16 billion).
